The APN is a lead advocate and voice for community-based local, regional and statewide perinatal health issues, pregnancy and birth outcomes.  Annually we develop a NYS-focused advocacy plan and often work collaboratively with other Perinatal health-focused organizations to meet with and inform state leadership and legislators of issues, service gaps, and promising practices for improving maternal and infant health.  Reach out to us to suggest a perinatal issue that needs to be brought to the attention of our government leaders.
